My Baby Is TOO GOOD TO ME!!

My Baby put a couple of songs on his blog today. Check it out it is the link to the side that says Bill's Blog, he is WAY yonder TOO GOOD to me and he is my Baby. Thank you, Baby. I do love you and yes you have told me lately that you love me. Especially this morning. It was wonderful, thank you!! ;) He explains it all on his blog, but the first one that he put on is one of my FAVORITES!! It is so funny!! One of the parts on it I like to say "Lay your hands on a married man, is as low as a cow can get." It actually says "gal" but I think she would be a cow. My Baby giggles when I say that part. He is so CUTE!!

I had to do the truck today. It usually shows up on Fridays, but this week they took off Thursday. So it was a day late. It showed up at 1:30 this afternoon, usually shows up at 2 or so. So me and Cheryl unloaded it and then put up all the groceries. It wasn't too bad today. We had 115 groceries, 81 frozen, and 310 cartons of cigarettes. We got done about 6:30 or so. So Cheryl mopped the floor and I helped in the kitchen. I had to make up an hour because I left work early yesterday. I have to at least work 35 hours a week. That is about all I get too. But it pays the bills (barely) and I still have a life. So that makes life pretty good around here.

My Baby has sold 3 more crosses. He is doing so good with that. Monday he is going to call them and order 100 more crosses to make. So that is going to really start the paychecks rolling in for him. They pay every Friday. So we should get them on Monday or Tuesday. So that won't be too bad. And he can make as much as I do sitting here at home. So I am going to sit here and help him make them. That way we can definitly make 400 of them a week. And then we will be making $500 a week. Not to bad for sitting at home not paying for gas, and not putting up with freaks. I can't wait!! I honestly hate going there everyday. That is why I try to get out of there early most days. Especially Fridays. Fridays I work kitchen and that is the ONLY DAY that I do. I actually work the whole dang building. Out front running register and than I get stuck unloading truck because Cheryl's back hurts her most days (and I don't mind helping her) plus putting up kitchen groceries, and freezer, and then I go back and put up the back stock or I have to stand and price the groceries. I like to stand in the back and just price items because EVERYONE leaves me alone. I definitly like THAT!!

I guess that is all I have to say about that one. Or do you like that is all the news that is news here at Cornfield County. LOL!! ;) Thank you Baby I love you with all of my heart. And I hope that everyone has a good night. I know we will, I have to show my Baby how much I do love him. Not HAVE to, but a whole lot of want to. ;) I know you didn't really need to know that. But have a goodnight anyway. Hold your Baby real tight.

Accomplished ALOT!!

On Sunday we went to Tarkio and got groceries. And we came home and I made 6 loaves of Banana Bread. I also got the Tiger engraving picture done. It looks AWESOME, if I do say so myself. I am not vane AT ALL. But it does look really good, I hope the kids like them. If you click on the picture and enlarge it you can see the little lines that I had to scrape off. It is on a cardboard back, but it is kind of foil. On the front the lines are there you just have to scrape the color off. It is really fun and cool to do. There are a whole lot of lines to scrape off, I know that. But like I said really fun to do.

Then on Monday I got up and did all the laundry. It was really nice outside so I hung them up on the line. I also started on the Heart Wreath that Grandma gave us. It is a latch hook frilly thing. I finished it today. It really turned out really good. It is 12"x12". It is really frilly, but pretty. I took it up to Grandma and Grandpa's and showed them. Grandma really liked it. My Baby tied one of the leather straps from the necklaces on the top so it can hang on the wall until I either make it into a pillow or put a dowel rod in the top. So I think that I have really been busy sitting on my butt. ;P

While I was doing all that on my butt, my Baby was cutting out paper towel holders. He has this really cute one that is a milk jug with a cow on it. I REALLY like it. I may have him make me one. He also has one that is a cow and one that is a pig. They are all so cute. He has some really cute things. And then he puts these little "swishy-deely" lines on their eyes. That is what I call them. He smiles everytime I call it that.

We went up and got the car yesterday FINALLY and when we got back we stopped at the library and got the new Stephen King book. It is called Just After Sunset. It has a whole lot of short stories in it. I am going to try and start reading it tonight, if I stay awake long enough. I had to be to work at 6 this morning. It is really RETARDED to be there that early. We don't open up until 6, but the manager has been opening up early for the STUPID "REAL" MEN who work for the wind turbines. They are REAL A**HOLES. I don't like ANY of them. And DON'T make THEM WAIT!! HEAVENS that would be a tragedy. We have one lady who actually called corporate and pitched a HUGE FIT because she had to wait in line. She is a HUGE WENCH to say the least. But, anyway, that is why they call it work, because you aren't supposed to like it, I guess.

Anyway, we are going to go to bed. I hope everyone has a wonderful night and hold your Baby real tight. Goodnight.

Running and Baking Today!!

My Baby is selling this necklace. He sold one today to a lady on his Etsy Shop. I am so HAPPY for him!! They are just BEAUTIFUL!! There is a tag on them (that you can cut off before you wear them, of course) that reads "THE DISCIPLE'S CROSS is made up of three distinct components. The simulated leather cord reminds us of the leather straps used to beat our Savior; the wrapped wire stands for the thorn branches twisted into a crown to mock the King of Kings; and the nails represent the large spikes that were driven into the hands and feet of the Lord of Lords. As you carry your DISCIPLE'S CROSS with you, consider the sacrifice that Jesus made for you and take up your cross and follow Him." The DISCIPLE'S CROSS comes in a rainbow of colors. They are just so gorgeous. The man that designed them sells his for $10, Bill sells his for $7. I am just so HAPPY I could just explode.

Yesterday my Baby cleaned the living room and put the clothes away. It really made a difference in here. He also did laundry. Thank you, Baby!! Today, I have baked banana bread that Grandma got us. We got Sonja (a girl from work) to take us to Tarkio today to get some things that we forgot to get yesterday. We forgot some tortilla shells for tacos last night so we were going to walk down to the so-called grocery store to get some. I called them to see if they had any and GUESS WHAT? they didn't. IMAGINE THAT!! They have a suggestion box down there I want to politely but not nicely say "do Fairfax a favor and CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!!" I don't know why we would think that they would have something as simple as tortilla shells, it is a grocery store and everything. One day we went down there to get BOLOGNE, they didn't have ANY (and I mean ANY) lunchmeat. Now come on, get with the program. The cheapest crap around and we can't get it down here. So to say the least it is a JOKE!!

Right now I am going to get off of here to turn my bread and start supper. So goodnight all and hold your Baby real tight.

For Us Women (And Men)!!

I thought that I would share a t-shirt with all of you. My Baby found this on a etsy shop. I had to have it!!! I am a terrible woman. I don't exercise, I don't eat fruits and vegetables, unless you count chocolate. And I worry WAY TOO MUCH!! And if anything is going to go wrong-it is going to happen to me. EXAMPLES- We (my husband, then) had our first child, a boy named Allen Scott, 8-months-later we were burying him. We had another little boy Bobby Daren- he is fine and 17-year-old mouth-piece. LOL! We had a little girl Sarah Marie, and 5-months-later we buried her. And then we had Trey Daniel, who is fine and a 8-year-old. After I had Trey, I got a hernia and had to go to the doctors'. They found out that I had gall stones (no problems with them) but they were taken out and my hernia fixed. Well, an 1 1/2 hour surgery turned into 6 1/2 hours. They had to completely open me up. I asked them why they didn't let me just bleed out, the doctor looked at me and said that if I even waited another week that I would have been dead. So, if anything is going to happen, it WILL happen to me.

And then 2005, I met my Baby. I divorced my husband and got with Bill. He is the BEST THING that has ever happened to me, EVER!! He has a daughter Elizabeth, and a son Michael. Michael lives with us. Elizabeth is a mom. She has the little boy Gabriel, who my Baby is holding on the header. They are both of ours', all of them. It is so cool that I had a little girl and little boy and I lost them and got with Bill and he had a girl and a boy. I love them just as much as I love mine. Yes, I miss my kids every minute of everyday. Yes, I bawl at the drop of a hat, because of my depression. And yes, I love my Baby with all of my heart and will be with FOREVER!!

I am sorry that I got to chasing rabbits on this post. I don't know where I was going with this, sorry. My Baby and I just got done "tagging and bagging" the last of the crosses that he is making. They are so BEAUTIFUL!! He brought them up to work today and there was a couple of ladies there that want some when they get paid. So there are more orders. He is really getting good at them. I am so proud.

Yes, Plain Old Cookin' it is exciting to be able to blog with the family. It costs so much to call and talk so we get on here and just "yammer" away and meet new people. Right now I am going to get off of here so I can do the dishes and we are going to go to bed so we can deliver newspapers in the morning. We haven't been OFFICIALLY called YET, but we will PROBABLY. Tomorrow I have to go to work at 6-1 p.m. CAN'T WAIT, hahaha! SARCASM, sorry. So goodnight all and hold your baby real tight.

Good Evening!!

The pictures that I put on here yesterday were of the engraving pictures that I am working on. The pictures didn't enlarge like I wanted, sorry. But, on them you can KIND OF see little lines on them. There is a LOT of detail to them and you take a engraving knife and you scrape off every line. It is very time consuming, but the end result is very BEAUTIFUL. You can go to www.marymaxim.com and where the search bar is put in engraving. There will be 10 pictures just pick one and see some of the lines on it.

The kids are getting one each for Christmas. A couple of years ago I made Elizabeth an angel (because she is so beautiful and our angel), Bobby got a tiger (because he loves them), Michael got an owl (because he stays up all night long), and Trey got a monkey face (because he has always been our monkey-butt). I also crocheted them slippers. Bill gave Elizabeth some of his outside crafts and indoor crafts. They are cheap, but we really like to MAKE our Christmas gifts. That way when something happens to one of us, HOPEFULLY, the kids will look at the crafts and think of us.

So that is what they are. Thank you, cookinsforme. I keep forgetting that it is not only Bill's family that looks at my blog. Thank you it really means alot. The link on my blog that says Bill's blog, that is my baby's blog. Povertyflats USA is Bill's mom and step-dad, Frances and Don. And Tangled Mane Ranch is Bill's sister, Linda and Don. So welcome and I hope you take your shoes off, take a deep breath, and just relax.

We delivered newspapers this morning and I had to go to work at 6-1 today. I work at Caseys' and pee-hole kind of convenience store. I have worked there since February and have been full-time for 6 months. So it pays the bills and gives me grey hair. FULFILLING, huh?! LOL!! When we got home we both laid down and didn't get up until 5:30 when the phone rang and it was the lady that delivers our papers. So guess what, we have to deliver tomorrow and maybe Thursday and Friday. So that money will get us to Friday and then I get paid. So God is great and answers our prayers!!!

I am going to get off of here. My Baby has made supper and it smells wonderful. Hamburgers and macaroni and cheese!! I love hamburgers. So does Michael. So I am getting off of here. Have a goodnight and hold your Baby real tight.

Our Package Came FINALLY!!

UPS didn't bring it, but we finally got it. They took the package to the Post Office. I don't know why, we stopped the UPS truck to see if we got our package and the guy said that it didn't come. We came home and I was calling UPS to see where it was and Danny, our postman knocked on the door. He had the package in his hands. He said that the UPS brought it by there and dropped it off. This town IS NOT VERY BIG at all. We have maybe 450 people. It is not very big. Most of those are elderly people. We have a main street which is also a highway. And on both sides of that are maybe 5 or 6 streets that run parallel with it. So we are not talking huge.

Anyway, we got it. Here are the pictures of them. It is very time comsuming. I hope that they will like them. As I said, this year we are going to put them in picture frames. We went to Dollar General and found the perfect one's too. So for Christmas the presents are here to be ready.

Trey Daniel came by today. He is our youngest child. He was in his Boy Scout uniform. He is so cute. I will have to put on here his pictures that he took the last time he was here. It was quite impressive, NOT!! He took 6 or 7 of them. Anyway, he stopped by to give us his popcorn that we bought. He is going to come back Friday.

There is not much else going on here. We have to deliver papers in the morning. Larry the regular paper delivery guy is in the hospital. So his wife is going to deliver his and we are going to deliver her's. It is VERY CONFUSING. I am here and I still get confused, ABOUT ALOT OF THINGS!! So we are going to go to bed. So good night all , and hold your Baby real tight.

Cute Picture from KMA

I found this picture on our local radio station's web site. I thought that it was so cute. They have alot of really cute pics on there everyday. It is just a little radio station that a LOT of farmers listen to. I grew up listening to it. I remember on Sunday afternoon's they had Fibber McGee and Molly, Jack Benny on the Bill Miller Show. It was so cool. I couldn't remember all of those without my Baby's help. Thank you, honey. The radio station has farm markets, it also has an e-shop (used to be called the elephant shop) that people can sell, buy, or trade all kinds of things. No guns and no fire wood. But everything else that is legal and not immoral. My Baby puts his woodcrafts on there some of the time.

Talking about my Baby he is working on his sisters' sign. He is working to send it off Friday. He will also be working on making his crosses. I am making me a bath. And then HOPEFULLY I will be getting the Christmas presents today so I can start working on them. I can't wait. The UPS sent it to Kansas instead of Missouri or I would have had it Friday. SO that is VERY DISHEARTENING!! But a little late than never. I know that I will have it done for Christmas. I will have to get pictures to show you what I am making the kids for Christmas. I made them some a couple fo years ago. We didn't have the money to put them in frames, BUT this year we do.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I met a new friend yesterday. She commented on my Peter commercial. So welcome "Cookinsforme". And thank you for checking my blog.

So right now I am going to get off of here and go and take my bath. Take care and have a great day. Roxi

A Big Day!!

Today, Bill worked on his crosses and he did 14 of them today. I am so proud of him. He also cut out his sisters' sign. While he did that, I did the laundry and made some Friendship Bread. It turned out pretty good. I kinda burnt the top part of it on one of them. It was alright. I took some of it off. Bill fixed a GREAT!! supper. We had some chili. OH MY GOSH!! It was so good.

That is pretty much it for today. We are both TOO FULL and TOO SLEEPY!! I know that I am ready for bed. So goodnight all and let your Baby hold you real tight.

Been A Long Week!!

I had a 3 day weekend last week. I had off Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I was supposed to go to a training thing in the kitchen on monday but Patsy told me for a week that I was could take it off. So then on Wednesday when I walked in she goes "Did you have a good 4 days off." I looked at her and told her that "I only had 3 days off, thank you very much." She can REALLY get on that one last nerve and dance a jig, and she is NOT a small woman. So I am a terrible woman and I just jump right back. I don't get hateful, but if she is rude and disrespectful, then so am I. I don't put up with it. She told Bill when I was in the back room getting cups that she really misses me when I am not there, Bill and I are both wondering what she is going to do when I quit to help him with his crafts. Personally, I don't care what anyone thinks. He needs the help and why should we give someone else a job, when I am ready, willing and able to do it? And I know how he wants and needs it done, why train someone else?

So anyway, they all depend on me to much up there, everyone is yelling for me to help them from the manager, assistant manager all the way to the peons like myself, and the customers. They just do it because they are so lazy it is not EVEN FUNNY. The one's in the kitchen (when we put the food in the freezer) want me to open up ALL the boxes, I think most of the time that they would love it if I would be there all the time to take it out, cook it for them, serve the customers, and ring them up. It is enough to drive me to drink. I don't, but most of the time, I wish I did.

But anyways, Bill is working on another cross. He is really getting frustrated, I think that we are going to go to bed soon so he can take a break. He is REALLY needing one. They are so BEAUTIFUL!! I am so proud of him for finding this on the net, and doing so well with it.

I know that I am needing a break, I fixed supper after work while Bill worked on his crosses. While I was doing that I ended up baking some banana bread. Bill got some last weekend when we went up to Shen. and they were spoiling so I made 3 loaves. Tomorrow (hopefully it is warm enough) I am going to wash clothes and hang them out and then I am going to make some Friendship Bread. If not tomorrow (on the bread) then I am on Monday.

I was supposed to have had the boys tonight but they didn't come by, IMAGINE THAT ONE!! I didn't get them on that one sunday, so maybe tomorrow. I doubt it, but maybe.

Today was opening day for deer season, the MEN are so STUPID. They ALL get DRUNK on Friday night, because we have to celebrate being MEN WITH GUNS, so on Saturday morning at the BUTT CRACK of DAWN we are still drunk with a loaded weapon shooting at a deer that we won't eat, being MACHO MEN!! WOOOHOOO!!! I hated working today. This one guy I swear was bragging because some girl 3 times younger than he was was complaining of her head hurting, and he says "If you can't DRINK with the BIG DOGS, stay on the PORCH." WHAT A RETARD!! I wanted to slap him right in the face. They actually, make me so mad that I really look at them with disgust, because I know that that is NOT how God wanted them to be. AND DON'T BLAME IT ON US WOMEN!! Most of them are not smart without us.

We are going to go to bed, so goodnight all. Take a deep breath and hold your Baby real tight.

Story Behind "Peter"

My brother, Doug, is 8-years older than I am. He went into the Navy in 1982. I was 11and VERY MUCH a Tom-boy. "Tagging" along behind him and Daddy whenever we went and chored. I loved to be with them both. Anyway, in 1985, (I think) that was when he was in the Philipines and all we got were phone calls from him and Shelley was already gone to college, so all there was at home was me, mom and dad. So when that commercial came on I would sit and dream of "My Doug" coming home and surprising us. I was so young and not so bright. So I would sit and cry when that commercial would come on. I am so glad that I could find it on You Tube. If you watch it and check out the full-length version, that one really makes me BAWL. Sorry, Doug, but I did and still do. ;)

Thank you Frances for commenting on my blog. And thank you everyone for checking it out, it really means ALOT to me. If it were not for my BABY, I wouldn't even be having a blog. I love you, Baby. I am so proud of you

This is our new venture. It is VERY EXCITING to be able to work right beside you, Baby. I can't wait to get this started. "This" by the way, is our Disciple's Cross. We will be making these from home and we are going to be selling them along with my Baby's woodcrafts. They come in a Rainbow of colors, and oh, so pretty. I can't wait. We are both so excited. Thank you all. I am going to sign off of here and we are going to bed.

We both worked very hard today. We went up and raked Grandma and Grandpa's leaves down to the road and we got to play "pyro". I love to play with fire. Especially when it is just leaves or our burning pile. We sure did burn alot and rake alot. So we are both wore out.

So remember go to bed and let your Baby hold you real tight and forget about your day. Good night all.

A Tribute For Veteran's Day

Flag Folding Ceremony
The flag folding ceremony represents the same religious principles on which our country was originally founded. The portion of the flag denoting honor is the canton of blue containing the stars representing the states our veterans served in uniform. The canton field of blue dresses from left to right and is inverted when draped as a pall on a casket of a veteran who has served our country in uniform.
In the Armed Forces of the United States, at the ceremony of retreat the flag is lowered, folded in a triangle fold and kept under watch throughout the night as a tribute to our nation's honored dead. The next morning it is brought out and, at the ceremony of reveille, run aloft as a symbol of our belief in the resurrection of the body.

(Wait for the Honor Guard or Flag Detail to unravel and fold the flag into a quarter fold--resume reading when Honor Guard is standing ready.)

The first fold of our flag is a symbol of life.

The second fold is a symbol of our belief in the eternal life.

The third fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veteran departing our ranks who gave a portion of life for the defense of our country to attain a peace throughout the world.

The fourth fold represents our weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in times of war for His divine guidance.

The fifth fold is a tribute to our country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, "Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong."

The sixth fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The seventh fold is a tribute to our Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that we protect our country and our flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

The eighth fold is a tribute to the one who entered in to the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor mother, for whom it flies on Mother's Day.

The ninth fold is a tribute to womanhood; for it has been through their faith, love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great have been molded.

The tenth fold is a tribute to father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since they were first born.

The eleventh fold, in the eyes of a Hebrew citizen, represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon, and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The twelfth fold, in the eyes of a Christian citizen, represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes, God the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost.

When the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, "In God we Trust."
(Wait for the Honor Guard or Flag Detail to inspect the flag--after the inspection, resume reading.)

After the flag is completely folded and tucked in, it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers who served under General George Washington and the sailors and marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones who were followed by their comrades and shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for us the rights, privileges, and freedoms we enjoy today.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My dad read this in front of a crowded auditorium. He was (and is) the Commander of the American Legion Post in Mound City, MO. There was the whole school (which isn't THAT big, but big enough). My brother was there in his uniform, as well. It was very exciting. I am proud of them and all of the veteran's and their families for the GREAT JOB that they do. Thank you so much. All of you do the best job without a whole lot of appreciation from anyone. You are just doing what Uncle Sam tells you. That is what you have done from World War 1 to Vietnam to Iraq. Thank you all.

We SALUTE you, Roxi and Bill

Thank You All Of You Veterans!!

Busy Day Today!!

Bill has been painting all day today. We took a break to go up to Grandma and Grandpa (Bill's Grandparents) to take a shower. They had went to St. Joe to the eye doctor this morning and they had just gotten back when we went up. Grandma looks really tired, but she is 85. So she deserves to be a little tired. I know at 37 I am very tired all of the time. And I know that when I was a kid I couldn't go to St. Joe without going to sleep before Mound City and that was only 10 miles from the house. So to go to St. Joe I would be out for hours there and back. And then when I got home I would still be tired. I am still that way.

When we got home Bill went back to painting and I started supper. I made some Friendship Bread today. I really like it, the last one was a whole lot more cinnamony than either one of us like, so I cut out some of it and then we added some raisins to it. It turned out REALLY GOOD. We had to go to Tarkio this morning so we could get some groceries, but besides that we just sat at home and baked and painted. That bread made the house smell really good. Besides that not much else is going on, but that is the way we like it. "Quiet on the homefront" kinda thing. No drama, just quiet.

I didn't get the boys yesterday, like they said we would. Which is nothing new there. So when we have plans and we say they can't stay then I feel bad, but just think back to whne they didn't come by. Their father called earlier and asked if Bobby was here, and Bill told him no. Apparently, he told the guy down the street that he was coming here to say hi, but GUESS WHAT, he didn't. He is 17, so I shouldn't say too much. But sometimes, it really hurts. But that is life. It don't get any easier, so they say. BUT, it will for us, this Disciple's Cross, is going to be great for us. We don't ask for anything extravagant, just our bills to be paid on time and a little bit of gas in the car (now that we have one.)

So I am giong to get off of here and let my Baby take me to bed and make life go away. So good-night all and let your Baby hold you real tight.

A Tribute to My Baby "Billy Bayou"

Life At The Hamilton's

Bill is outside cutting out crafts today. Right now he is cutting out a JOY sign. He is really excited about the Etsy Shop, and he already has a person that has picked him as their favorite. I will let him tell you all about it later when he has time. But I am so excited for him.

I am working on the laundry. There wasn't that much because my Baby did laundry the other day. I am just finishing it up. There was about 3 or 4 loads. About 2 loads in a real washer. But it makes me feel so good to have all of the laundry done. I have always been that way. I know that it isn't that big of a deal but I just love to have all of my chores done. I am so weird. Pre-Bill I always had to have that kind of stuff done before I could go anywhere (with my ex and with my parents). So now even with Bill I can just relax when the dishes and the laundry are done.

There isn't much else going on. The boys are supposed to be coming over for a little while today. Who knows when they will show up. They will have to go home tonight to get ready for school tomorrow, but I will be able to spend time with them none the less. So we are waiting on them. Their father and the "thing" that lives with him are so unpredictable it is NOT even funny. We talked to Trey the other day and they were selling his Popcorn for the Boy Scouts. He was in his uniform and everything, he is so handsome. Takes after his MOM. LOL!!

I am going to get off of here and go outside with my Baby. Take care, folks. Talk to you later.
