POWERFUL WOMEN'S MOTTO
THAT WHEN YOUR FEET HIT THE FLOOR
IN THE MORNING, SATAN SHUDDERS AND SAYS..
"OH S***... SHE'S AWAKE!!!"
I read that and thought of what my Baby says "sometimes I wake up Grumpy, and sometimes I let her sleep." While he is shuddering. LOL!! No he does say that but he is just being silly. ;)
This week has been terrible. Last Saturday, I got really stressed out at work and messed up the computers where the pumps were locked up. I had to call my boss, who was hurting. She had some problems with her colon. So I was supposed to be off on Sunday and Monday, but a lady at work hurt her back at home and couldn't close on Sunday and Monday. So I had to close Monday. Then on Monday our pipes froze up here at home. So I was stressed about that as well. My Baby had to unfreeze them. He called 4 people to fix it and none of them would come. So he got it all fixed on Tuesday. So wednesday, I got up and couldn't talk. My boss had surgery to remove colon cancer that was benign. She made it through with only one complication. They had to also remove her spleen. The longer the day went on the worse I felt. By the end of the day, I was ready to lay down and just sleep. I got a lady at work to work my hours on Thursday. I thought that Friday I would be able to work. But when I got up on Friday there was no way that there would be any way that I could work. I think that either I have pneumonia or bronchitis. I don't know which, but I know that it is in my chest and it was hurting. Right now I can at least cough and get it out. I sound terrible, but it hopefully is getting better. I haven't figured it out yet, but when I get stressed out, I get really sick. Last time I got all the head congestion. This time I got it in my chest. So now I need to get me and my Baby from stressing. He is going to have a heart attack if he doesn't calm down. His heart rate on a good day is 117 beats. That is when he just relaxing. Not stressing or panicking. I don't know what we are going to do.
That is what is going on here for now. We are going to lay down and relax. I am off today and tomorrow. I just got the laundry done (as much as I was going to do, anyway). And then I may take a nap. Take care everyone and we will talk to you later.

Family Album

Here are some pictures of the kids. The little one is of Trey and my niece, Wynette. Sorry that it doesn't get any bigger. The other one is of Michael, Elizabeth (who is holding Little Gabriel), the little blonde girl with the pink shirt on is Bill's niece Kelsey. Her birthday is the 10th of September and Bills' birthday is the 9th. They get along so great. The bottom 2 are of Bobby. He is such a ham. Talk about being vane. But he is our kid. They all are. Michael is taller than his father. And Elizabeth and him are so SKINNY. Elizabeth wears a size zero, and has had 2 kids. DRIVES ME CRAZY!! But gotta love her. She is so beautiful. They all are.

In September 1960, I woke up one morning with six hungry babies and just 75 cents in my pocket. Their father was gone. The boys ranged from three months to seven years; their sister was two. Their Dad had never been much more than a presence they feared. Whenever they heard his tires crunch on the gravel drive-way they would scramble to hide under their beds. He did manage to leave $15 a week to buy groceries. Now that he had decided to leave, there would be no more beatings, but no food either.
If there was a welfare system in effect in southern Indiana, at that time, I certainly knew nothing about it. I scrubbed the kids until they looked brand new and then put on my best homemade dress, loaded them into the rusty old 51 Chevy and drove off to find a job. The seven of us went to every factory, store and restauran in our small town. No luck. The kids stayed crammed into the car and tried to be quiet while I tried to convince who ever would listen that I was willing to learn or do anything. I had to have a job. Still no luck. The last place we went to, just a few miles out of town, was an old Root Beer Barrel drive-in that had been converted to a truck stop. It was called the Big Wheel. An old lady named Granny owned the place and she peeked out of the window from time to time at all those kids. She needed someone on the graveyard shift, 11 at night until seven in the morning. She paid 65 cents an hour, and I could start that night. I raced home and called the teenager down the street that baby-sat for people. I bargained with her to come and sleep on my sofa for a dollar a night. She could arrive with her pajamas on and the kids would already be asleep. This seemed like a good arrangement to her, so we made a deal. That night when the little ones and I knelt to say our prayers, we all thanked God for finding Mommy a job. And so I started at the Big Wheel. When I got home in the mornings I woke the baby-sitter up and sent her home with one dollar of my tip money-- fully half of what I averaged every night. As the weeks went by, heating bills added a strain to my meager wage. The tires on the old Chevy had the consistency of penny balloons and began to leak. I had to fill them with air on the way to work and again every morning before I could go home. One bleak fall morning, I dragged myself to the car to go home and found four tires in the back seat. New tires! There was no note, no nothing, just those beautiful brand new tires. Had angels taken up residence in Indiana ? I wondered. I made a deal with the local service station. In exchange for his mounting the new tires, I would clean up his office. I remember it took me a lot longer to scrub his floor than it did for him to do the tires. I was now working six nights instead of five and it still wasn't enough. Christmas was coming and I knew there would be no money for toys for the kids. I found a can of red paint and started repairing and painting some old toys. Then I hid them in the basement so there would be something for Santa to deliver on Christmas morning. Clothes were a worry too. I was sewing patches on top of patches on the boys pants and soon they would be too far gone to repair.
On Christmas Eve the usual customers were drinking coffee in the Big Wheel. There were the truckers, Les, Frank, and Jim, and a state trooper named Joe. A few musicians were hanging around after a gig at the Legion and were dropping nickels in the pinball machine. The regulars all just sat around and talked through the wee hours of the morning and then left to get home before the sun came up. When it was time for amazement, my old battered Chevy was filled full to the top with boxes of all shapes and sizes. I quickly opened the driver's side door, crawled inside and kneeled in the front facing the back seat. Reaching back, I pulled off the lid of the top box. Inside was whole case of little blue jeans, sizes 2-10! I looked inside another box: It was full of shirts to go with the jeans. Then I peeked inside some of the other boxes. There was candy and nuts and bananas and bags of groceries. There was an enormous ham for baking, and canned vegetables and potatoes. There was pudding and Jell-O and cookies, pie filling and flour. There was WHOLE bag of laundry supplies and cleaning items. And there were five toy trucks and one beautiful little doll. As I drove back through empty streets as the sun slowly rose on the most amazing Christmas Day of my life, I was sobbing with gratitude. And I will never forget the joy on the faces of my little ones that precious morning.
I thought that I would put this on my blog. I thought that it fit witht the Christmas. I am sorry that I haven't wrote lately but work is extra crazy lately. My boss, Patsy, she is my manager just found out the other day that she has to have surgery for colon cancer. So we are really trying to pull together. Most of the people who work there just think of themselves. The assistant manager is REALLY a huge witch. Patsy found out on Wednesday that and all the assistant manager was worried about was that she wasn't going to be able to get her vacation so she could get drunk to celebrate her birthday. And all I could think about is how many birthdays was Patsy going to be able to have. She just celebrated her 60th not too long ago. So she isn't really that old. And the part that really bothers me is that the assistant and the manager have known each other for a really long time. Patsy's daughter and Sonja (the assistant) were best friends when they were growing up. So it is not that they don't know each other. I gotta get off of here and go to work. Have a good day and don't work too hard. Take care of each other. I will try and blog later.

I WAS VERY LAZY TODAY...
I have to remember to call my mom and tell her that our youngest son, Trey, has his Christmas program on Wednesday night. We haven't seen him for quite awhile, or Bobby for that matter. Maybe we will see them on Wednesday night. I don't know what is going on with them. But anyway, we will go and enjoy.
Tomorrow night we are having chili and I am going to try to make some Monkey Bread. I lookes on Google and got the recipe. I can't wait. I am going to see if I can make it and if I can, I am going to make some for Christmas Eve to take over to Elizabeth and Kaleys'. I really like Cinnamon Rolls with my Chili. The school up here got me started on that, so I am going to try Monkey Bread. It is about the same thing. We were going to have it tonight, but since I wasn't feeling good, we had spaghetti. That is My Baby's favorite, he didn't mind at all. His favorite meals are spaghetti and ghoulash. He also likes fried chicken and Italian Chicken, but his all-time favorites are spaghetti and ghoulash. So I am very excited.
I am going to get off of here and finish watching Hee Haw. I love that show. So have a goodnight and hold your Baby real tight.

Thank You Baby!!
I also must thank my Baby for giving me my Christmas Gift early. He got me a really long, really warm housecoat from Wal-Mart. We also got to eat out at McDonalds. It was so great, I really enjoyed myself tremendously. And then I found these videos. It has truly been a great day. Thank you, honey. ;) I am going to get off of here tonight and go to bed. So goodnight all and hold your Baby real tight.
Enjoy, Roxi

My Baby's Sweety!!
My Baby thought that he would be so cute and take a picture of me. I was sitting on the front steps of our trailer. That is the cat that Elizabeth and I took from a house on the other side of town. Bobby and Elizabeth took a drive when we had a truck and found this house with a whole lot of cats. Bobby was chicken to grab one so Elizabeth and I was going out to see her boyfriend and Bill so we got sidetracked and went to the house and knocked on the door. No one answered so we just took the cat. It really is a really pretty cat (it is a tiger striped short hair) and on the tip of the tail it has one small white spot. So whenever he asks who brought the cat home I tell him that Bobby and Elizabeth did. ;p I love you, Baby!!There isn't that much to talk about tonight. I put that song on here, because I really like it and I was actually just playing around. My blog wouldn't put it on here before. But my Baby fixed it for me. Thank you, baby. So I am going to get off of here and get the dishes done. Goodnight all. Hold you Baby real tight and you will have a great night.

My Mind Works Weird!!
My Baby had his own mowing business, wood cutting business, paper delivery, and cleaning the Bank, Post Offices, and churches in Tarkio and Fairfax. Made REAL GOOD money. Before he did the mowing and having 7 part-time jobs most that he had ever made was $13,000 a year for being Manager at a local truck stop. Got fired, because he wouldn't move his family (which consisted of his nephew and his newborn daughter, and his wife) so they gave him a severance check and told him in no uncertain terms to "not let the door hitcha where the Good Lord splitcha." So my Baby (not at that time or it would have been A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT) started with his 7 part-time jobs so he didn't have to "punch the timeclock." He started mowing WITH A PUSH MOWER 30 yards. One of those yards was a senior housing yard. So then he got a rider and some help from his cousin and he added 16 more yards. He got paid really well and got paid REAL MONEY, no matter what anyone said. His wife at that time, would sit there and tell him to "GET A REAL JOB and start making some real money", and everyone else in his life. Anyway, off of my soap-box. Now, what I am trying to say is, when the crosses and his woodcrafts start making us REAL MONEY (which we don't need much because I don't like to shop and I AM NOT GOING TO GO TO WORK FOR THAT PLACE OR ANY OTHER PLACE!!) I am going to quit and help my Baby make his money. If we decide to go fishing we can take our cross equipment with us and sit on the bank of the lake and make our crosses. I am NOT going to EVER tell him what he does is not real work, because for one thing- it makes REAL money that pays our REAL bills and puts REAL food in our mouths and puts REAL clothes on our backs. So whatever some people may think he IS a WORKING STIFF. Sorry, I guess I didn't get off of my soap box.
He got to thinking about his past when he got a phone call from his nephew and thinking that if he hadn't had her and others telling him to get a real job, things wouldn't have been the way they are.
I am done for tonight. Sorry, again. Have a goodnight. I know that we are going to, I have a surprise for my Baby. I know that he will like it. So have a great night and forget about the past and think of our future. It will only get better, Baby. I love you and always will. I love our life together and can't wait for many MANY more years together. Goodnight.

My Baby Is TOO GOOD TO ME!!
I had to do the truck today. It usually shows up on Fridays, but this week they took off Thursday. So it was a day late. It showed up at 1:30 this afternoon, usually shows up at 2 or so. So me and Cheryl unloaded it and then put up all the groceries. It wasn't too bad today. We had 115 groceries, 81 frozen, and 310 cartons of cigarettes. We got done about 6:30 or so. So Cheryl mopped the floor and I helped in the kitchen. I had to make up an hour because I left work early yesterday. I have to at least work 35 hours a week. That is about all I get too. But it pays the bills (barely) and I still have a life. So that makes life pretty good around here.
My Baby has sold 3 more crosses. He is doing so good with that. Monday he is going to call them and order 100 more crosses to make. So that is going to really start the paychecks rolling in for him. They pay every Friday. So we should get them on Monday or Tuesday. So that won't be too bad. And he can make as much as I do sitting here at home. So I am going to sit here and help him make them. That way we can definitly make 400 of them a week. And then we will be making $500 a week. Not to bad for sitting at home not paying for gas, and not putting up with freaks. I can't wait!! I honestly hate going there everyday. That is why I try to get out of there early most days. Especially Fridays. Fridays I work kitchen and that is the ONLY DAY that I do. I actually work the whole dang building. Out front running register and than I get stuck unloading truck because Cheryl's back hurts her most days (and I don't mind helping her) plus putting up kitchen groceries, and freezer, and then I go back and put up the back stock or I have to stand and price the groceries. I like to stand in the back and just price items because EVERYONE leaves me alone. I definitly like THAT!!
I guess that is all I have to say about that one. Or do you like that is all the news that is news here at Cornfield County. LOL!! ;) Thank you Baby I love you with all of my heart. And I hope that everyone has a good night. I know we will, I have to show my Baby how much I do love him. Not HAVE to, but a whole lot of want to. ;) I know you didn't really need to know that. But have a goodnight anyway. Hold your Baby real tight.

Accomplished ALOT!!

On Sunday we went to Tarkio and got groceries. And we came home and I made 6 loaves of Banana Bread. I also got the Tiger engraving picture done. It looks AWESOME, if I do say so myself. I am not vane AT ALL. But it does look really good, I hope the kids like them. If you click on the picture and enlarge it you can see the little lines that I had to scrape off. It is on a cardboard back, but it is kind of foil. On the front the lines are there you just have to scrape the color off. It is really fun and cool to do. There are a whole lot of lines to scrape off, I know that. But like I said really fun to do.
Then on Monday I got up and did all the laundry. It was really nice outside so I hung them up on the line. I also started on the Heart Wreath that Grandma gave us. It is a latch hook frilly thing. I finished it today. It really turned out really good. It is 12"x12". It is really frilly, but pretty. I took it up to Grandma and Grandpa's and showed them. Grandma really liked it. My Baby tied one of the leather straps from the necklaces on the top so it can hang on the wall until I either make it into a pillow or put a dowel rod in the top. So I think that I have really been busy sitting on my butt. ;P
While I was doing all that on my butt, my Baby was cutting out paper towel holders. He has this really cute one that is a milk jug with a cow on it. I REALLY like it. I may have him make me one. He also has one that is a cow and one that is a pig. They are all so cute. He has some really cute things. And then he puts these little "swishy-deely" lines on their eyes. That is what I call them. He smiles everytime I call it that.
We went up and got the car yesterday FINALLY and when we got back we stopped at the library and got the new Stephen King book. It is called Just After Sunset. It has a whole lot of short stories in it. I am going to try and start reading it tonight, if I stay awake long enough. I had to be to work at 6 this morning. It is really RETARDED to be there that early. We don't open up until 6, but the manager has been opening up early for the STUPID "REAL" MEN who work for the wind turbines. They are REAL A**HOLES. I don't like ANY of them. And DON'T make THEM WAIT!! HEAVENS that would be a tragedy. We have one lady who actually called corporate and pitched a HUGE FIT because she had to wait in line. She is a HUGE WENCH to say the least. But, anyway, that is why they call it work, because you aren't supposed to like it, I guess.
Anyway, we are going to go to bed. I hope everyone has a wonderful night and hold your Baby real tight. Goodnight.

Running and Baking Today!!

My Baby is selling this necklace. He sold one today to a lady on his Etsy Shop. I am so HAPPY for him!! They are just BEAUTIFUL!! There is a tag on them (that you can cut off before you wear them, of course) that reads "THE DISCIPLE'S CROSS is made up of three distinct components. The simulated leather cord reminds us of the leather straps used to beat our Savior; the wrapped wire stands for the thorn branches twisted into a crown to mock the King of Kings; and the nails represent the large spikes that were driven into the hands and feet of the Lord of Lords. As you carry your DISCIPLE'S CROSS with you, consider the sacrifice that Jesus made for you and take up your cross and follow Him." The DISCIPLE'S CROSS comes in a rainbow of colors. They are just so gorgeous. The man that designed them sells his for $10, Bill sells his for $7. I am just so HAPPY I could just explode.
Yesterday my Baby cleaned the living room and put the clothes away. It really made a difference in here. He also did laundry. Thank you, Baby!! Today, I have baked banana bread that Grandma got us. We got Sonja (a girl from work) to take us to Tarkio today to get some things that we forgot to get yesterday. We forgot some tortilla shells for tacos last night so we were going to walk down to the so-called grocery store to get some. I called them to see if they had any and GUESS WHAT? they didn't. IMAGINE THAT!! They have a suggestion box down there I want to politely but not nicely say "do Fairfax a favor and CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!!" I don't know why we would think that they would have something as simple as tortilla shells, it is a grocery store and everything. One day we went down there to get BOLOGNE, they didn't have ANY (and I mean ANY) lunchmeat. Now come on, get with the program. The cheapest crap around and we can't get it down here. So to say the least it is a JOKE!!
Right now I am going to get off of here to turn my bread and start supper. So goodnight all and hold your Baby real tight.

For Us Women (And Men)!!

I thought that I would share a t-shirt with all of you. My Baby found this on a etsy shop. I had to have it!!! I am a terrible woman. I don't exercise, I don't eat fruits and vegetables, unless you count chocolate. And I worry WAY TOO MUCH!! And if anything is going to go wrong-it is going to happen to me. EXAMPLES- We (my husband, then) had our first child, a boy named Allen Scott, 8-months-later we were burying him. We had another little boy Bobby Daren- he is fine and 17-year-old mouth-piece. LOL! We had a little girl Sarah Marie, and 5-months-later we buried her. And then we had Trey Daniel, who is fine and a 8-year-old. After I had Trey, I got a hernia and had to go to the doctors'. They found out that I had gall stones (no problems with them) but they were taken out and my hernia fixed. Well, an 1 1/2 hour surgery turned into 6 1/2 hours. They had to completely open me up. I asked them why they didn't let me just bleed out, the doctor looked at me and said that if I even waited another week that I would have been dead. So, if anything is going to happen, it WILL happen to me.
And then 2005, I met my Baby. I divorced my husband and got with Bill. He is the BEST THING that has ever happened to me, EVER!! He has a daughter Elizabeth, and a son Michael. Michael lives with us. Elizabeth is a mom. She has the little boy Gabriel, who my Baby is holding on the header. They are both of ours', all of them. It is so cool that I had a little girl and little boy and I lost them and got with Bill and he had a girl and a boy. I love them just as much as I love mine. Yes, I miss my kids every minute of everyday. Yes, I bawl at the drop of a hat, because of my depression. And yes, I love my Baby with all of my heart and will be with FOREVER!!
I am sorry that I got to chasing rabbits on this post. I don't know where I was going with this, sorry. My Baby and I just got done "tagging and bagging" the last of the crosses that he is making. They are so BEAUTIFUL!! He brought them up to work today and there was a couple of ladies there that want some when they get paid. So there are more orders. He is really getting good at them. I am so proud.
Yes, Plain Old Cookin' it is exciting to be able to blog with the family. It costs so much to call and talk so we get on here and just "yammer" away and meet new people. Right now I am going to get off of here so I can do the dishes and we are going to go to bed so we can deliver newspapers in the morning. We haven't been OFFICIALLY called YET, but we will PROBABLY. Tomorrow I have to go to work at 6-1 p.m. CAN'T WAIT, hahaha! SARCASM, sorry. So goodnight all and hold your baby real tight.

Good Evening!!
The kids are getting one each for Christmas. A couple of years ago I made Elizabeth an angel (because she is so beautiful and our angel), Bobby got a tiger (because he loves them), Michael got an owl (because he stays up all night long), and Trey got a monkey face (because he has always been our monkey-butt). I also crocheted them slippers. Bill gave Elizabeth some of his outside crafts and indoor crafts. They are cheap, but we really like to MAKE our Christmas gifts. That way when something happens to one of us, HOPEFULLY, the kids will look at the crafts and think of us.
So that is what they are. Thank you, cookinsforme. I keep forgetting that it is not only Bill's family that looks at my blog. Thank you it really means alot. The link on my blog that says Bill's blog, that is my baby's blog. Povertyflats USA is Bill's mom and step-dad, Frances and Don. And Tangled Mane Ranch is Bill's sister, Linda and Don. So welcome and I hope you take your shoes off, take a deep breath, and just relax.
We delivered newspapers this morning and I had to go to work at 6-1 today. I work at Caseys' and pee-hole kind of convenience store. I have worked there since February and have been full-time for 6 months. So it pays the bills and gives me grey hair. FULFILLING, huh?! LOL!! When we got home we both laid down and didn't get up until 5:30 when the phone rang and it was the lady that delivers our papers. So guess what, we have to deliver tomorrow and maybe Thursday and Friday. So that money will get us to Friday and then I get paid. So God is great and answers our prayers!!!
I am going to get off of here. My Baby has made supper and it smells wonderful. Hamburgers and macaroni and cheese!! I love hamburgers. So does Michael. So I am getting off of here. Have a goodnight and hold your Baby real tight.

Our Package Came FINALLY!!

UPS didn't bring it, but we finally got it. They took the package to the Post Office. I don't know why, we stopped the UPS truck to see if we got our package and the guy said that it didn't come. We came home and I was calling UPS to see where it was and Danny, our postman knocked on the door. He had the package in his hands. He said that the UPS brought it by there and dropped it off. This town IS NOT VERY BIG at all. We have maybe 450 people. It is not very big. Most of those are elderly people. We have a main street which is also a highway. And on both sides of that are maybe 5 or 6 streets that run parallel with it. So we are not talking huge.
Anyway, we got it. Here are the pictures of them. It is very time comsuming. I hope that they will like them. As I said, this year we are going to put them in picture frames. We went to Dollar General and found the perfect one's too. So for Christmas the presents are here to be ready.
Trey Daniel came by today. He is our youngest child. He was in his Boy Scout uniform. He is so cute. I will have to put on here his pictures that he took the last time he was here. It was quite impressive, NOT!! He took 6 or 7 of them. Anyway, he stopped by to give us his popcorn that we bought. He is going to come back Friday.
There is not much else going on here. We have to deliver papers in the morning. Larry the regular paper delivery guy is in the hospital. So his wife is going to deliver his and we are going to deliver her's. It is VERY CONFUSING. I am here and I still get confused, ABOUT ALOT OF THINGS!! So we are going to go to bed. So good night all , and hold your Baby real tight.

Cute Picture from KMA

I found this picture on our local radio station's web site. I thought that it was so cute. They have alot of really cute pics on there everyday. It is just a little radio station that a LOT of farmers listen to. I grew up listening to it. I remember on Sunday afternoon's they had Fibber McGee and Molly, Jack Benny on the Bill Miller Show. It was so cool. I couldn't remember all of those without my Baby's help. Thank you, honey. The radio station has farm markets, it also has an e-shop (used to be called the elephant shop) that people can sell, buy, or trade all kinds of things. No guns and no fire wood. But everything else that is legal and not immoral. My Baby puts his woodcrafts on there some of the time.
Talking about my Baby he is working on his sisters' sign. He is working to send it off Friday. He will also be working on making his crosses. I am making me a bath. And then HOPEFULLY I will be getting the Christmas presents today so I can start working on them. I can't wait. The UPS sent it to Kansas instead of Missouri or I would have had it Friday. SO that is VERY DISHEARTENING!! But a little late than never. I know that I will have it done for Christmas. I will have to get pictures to show you what I am making the kids for Christmas. I made them some a couple fo years ago. We didn't have the money to put them in frames, BUT this year we do.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I met a new friend yesterday. She commented on my Peter commercial. So welcome "Cookinsforme". And thank you for checking my blog.
So right now I am going to get off of here and go and take my bath. Take care and have a great day. Roxi

Been A Long Week!!
So anyway, they all depend on me to much up there, everyone is yelling for me to help them from the manager, assistant manager all the way to the peons like myself, and the customers. They just do it because they are so lazy it is not EVEN FUNNY. The one's in the kitchen (when we put the food in the freezer) want me to open up ALL the boxes, I think most of the time that they would love it if I would be there all the time to take it out, cook it for them, serve the customers, and ring them up. It is enough to drive me to drink. I don't, but most of the time, I wish I did.
But anyways, Bill is working on another cross. He is really getting frustrated, I think that we are going to go to bed soon so he can take a break. He is REALLY needing one. They are so BEAUTIFUL!! I am so proud of him for finding this on the net, and doing so well with it.
I know that I am needing a break, I fixed supper after work while Bill worked on his crosses. While I was doing that I ended up baking some banana bread. Bill got some last weekend when we went up to Shen. and they were spoiling so I made 3 loaves. Tomorrow (hopefully it is warm enough) I am going to wash clothes and hang them out and then I am going to make some Friendship Bread. If not tomorrow (on the bread) then I am on Monday.
I was supposed to have had the boys tonight but they didn't come by, IMAGINE THAT ONE!! I didn't get them on that one sunday, so maybe tomorrow. I doubt it, but maybe.
Today was opening day for deer season, the MEN are so STUPID. They ALL get DRUNK on Friday night, because we have to celebrate being MEN WITH GUNS, so on Saturday morning at the BUTT CRACK of DAWN we are still drunk with a loaded weapon shooting at a deer that we won't eat, being MACHO MEN!! WOOOHOOO!!! I hated working today. This one guy I swear was bragging because some girl 3 times younger than he was was complaining of her head hurting, and he says "If you can't DRINK with the BIG DOGS, stay on the PORCH." WHAT A RETARD!! I wanted to slap him right in the face. They actually, make me so mad that I really look at them with disgust, because I know that that is NOT how God wanted them to be. AND DON'T BLAME IT ON US WOMEN!! Most of them are not smart without us.
We are going to go to bed, so goodnight all. Take a deep breath and hold your Baby real tight.

Story Behind "Peter"
Thank you Frances for commenting on my blog. And thank you everyone for checking it out, it really means ALOT to me. If it were not for my BABY, I wouldn't even be having a blog. I love you, Baby. I am so proud of you

This is our new venture. It is VERY EXCITING to be able to work right beside you, Baby. I can't wait to get this started. "This" by the way, is our Disciple's Cross. We will be making these from home and we are going to be selling them along with my Baby's woodcrafts. They come in a Rainbow of colors, and oh, so pretty. I can't wait. We are both so excited. Thank you all. I am going to sign off of here and we are going to bed.
We both worked very hard today. We went up and raked Grandma and Grandpa's leaves down to the road and we got to play "pyro". I love to play with fire. Especially when it is just leaves or our burning pile. We sure did burn alot and rake alot. So we are both wore out.
So remember go to bed and let your Baby hold you real tight and forget about your day. Good night all.

A Tribute For Veteran's Day
The flag folding ceremony represents the same religious principles on which our country was originally founded. The portion of the flag denoting honor is the canton of blue containing the stars representing the states our veterans served in uniform. The canton field of blue dresses from left to right and is inverted when draped as a pall on a casket of a veteran who has served our country in uniform.
In the Armed Forces of the United States, at the ceremony of retreat the flag is lowered, folded in a triangle fold and kept under watch throughout the night as a tribute to our nation's honored dead. The next morning it is brought out and, at the ceremony of reveille, run aloft as a symbol of our belief in the resurrection of the body.
(Wait for the Honor Guard or Flag Detail to unravel and fold the flag into a quarter fold--resume reading when Honor Guard is standing ready.)
The first fold of our flag is a symbol of life.
The second fold is a symbol of our belief in the eternal life.
The third fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veteran departing our ranks who gave a portion of life for the defense of our country to attain a peace throughout the world.
The fourth fold represents our weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in times of war for His divine guidance.
The fifth fold is a tribute to our country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, "Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong."
The sixth fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The seventh fold is a tribute to our Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that we protect our country and our flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.
The eighth fold is a tribute to the one who entered in to the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor mother, for whom it flies on Mother's Day.
The ninth fold is a tribute to womanhood; for it has been through their faith, love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great have been molded.
The tenth fold is a tribute to father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since they were first born.
The eleventh fold, in the eyes of a Hebrew citizen, represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon, and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The twelfth fold, in the eyes of a Christian citizen, represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes, God the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost.
When the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, "In God we Trust."
(Wait for the Honor Guard or Flag Detail to inspect the flag--after the inspection, resume reading.)
After the flag is completely folded and tucked in, it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers who served under General George Washington and the sailors and marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones who were followed by their comrades and shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for us the rights, privileges, and freedoms we enjoy today.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My dad read this in front of a crowded auditorium. He was (and is) the Commander of the American Legion Post in Mound City, MO. There was the whole school (which isn't THAT big, but big enough). My brother was there in his uniform, as well. It was very exciting. I am proud of them and all of the veteran's and their families for the GREAT JOB that they do. Thank you so much. All of you do the best job without a whole lot of appreciation from anyone. You are just doing what Uncle Sam tells you. That is what you have done from World War 1 to Vietnam to Iraq. Thank you all.
We SALUTE you, Roxi and Bill

Busy Day Today!!

Bill has been painting all day today. We took a break to go up to Grandma and Grandpa (Bill's Grandparents) to take a shower. They had went to St. Joe to the eye doctor this morning and they had just gotten back when we went up. Grandma looks really tired, but she is 85. So she deserves to be a little tired. I know at 37 I am very tired all of the time. And I know that when I was a kid I couldn't go to St. Joe without going to sleep before Mound City and that was only 10 miles from the house. So to go to St. Joe I would be out for hours there and back. And then when I got home I would still be tired. I am still that way.
When we got home Bill went back to painting and I started supper. I made some Friendship Bread today. I really like it, the last one was a whole lot more cinnamony than either one of us like, so I cut out some of it and then we added some raisins to it. It turned out REALLY GOOD. We had to go to Tarkio this morning so we could get some groceries, but besides that we just sat at home and baked and painted. That bread made the house smell really good. Besides that not much else is going on, but that is the way we like it. "Quiet on the homefront" kinda thing. No drama, just quiet.
I didn't get the boys yesterday, like they said we would. Which is nothing new there. So when we have plans and we say they can't stay then I feel bad, but just think back to whne they didn't come by. Their father called earlier and asked if Bobby was here, and Bill told him no. Apparently, he told the guy down the street that he was coming here to say hi, but GUESS WHAT, he didn't. He is 17, so I shouldn't say too much. But sometimes, it really hurts. But that is life. It don't get any easier, so they say. BUT, it will for us, this Disciple's Cross, is going to be great for us. We don't ask for anything extravagant, just our bills to be paid on time and a little bit of gas in the car (now that we have one.)
So I am giong to get off of here and let my Baby take me to bed and make life go away. So good-night all and let your Baby hold you real tight.

Life At The Hamilton's
I am working on the laundry. There wasn't that much because my Baby did laundry the other day. I am just finishing it up. There was about 3 or 4 loads. About 2 loads in a real washer. But it makes me feel so good to have all of the laundry done. I have always been that way. I know that it isn't that big of a deal but I just love to have all of my chores done. I am so weird. Pre-Bill I always had to have that kind of stuff done before I could go anywhere (with my ex and with my parents). So now even with Bill I can just relax when the dishes and the laundry are done.
There isn't much else going on. The boys are supposed to be coming over for a little while today. Who knows when they will show up. They will have to go home tonight to get ready for school tomorrow, but I will be able to spend time with them none the less. So we are waiting on them. Their father and the "thing" that lives with him are so unpredictable it is NOT even funny. We talked to Trey the other day and they were selling his Popcorn for the Boy Scouts. He was in his uniform and everything, he is so handsome. Takes after his MOM. LOL!!
I am going to get off of here and go outside with my Baby. Take care, folks. Talk to you later.

Sorry about my preaching, I was looking on You Tube and found this one and "Dear Mr. Jesus." They little girl singing it is absolutely heart-breaking. But I also know that if you don't take care of them that God WILL get his revenge. Jon Benet Ramseys' mother ended up getting cancer and SUFFERED WAY WORSE than poor Jon Benet. That is the wonderful way that God will get his vengeance. It is completely wonderful to tell the children that you love them everyday and you will see their smiles and warmness. They have the most wonderful smiles that will lighten up the world more than the sun does. I love to see our kids smile. Just look at my header and you will see Little Gabriels' and My Baby's smile. A smile is the cheapest thing that you can give someone else. And it also makes people wonder what you are thinking. So there are 2 good reasons why you should smile and make our children smile.
We are going to bed soon. Give the children kisses and hugs, have them pray to their Heavenly Father. I am going to go to bed and let my Baby hold me real tight. Baby, you are so welcome for fighting your demons with you. I love you with all of my heart and soul. So good night all.

A Very Lazy Day!!
On Friday, we went to the Crafter's Barn and Bill got me some little ornaments to embroider so today I got them all done. There are 4 of them. We will have to take a picture of them. They are about 4" around and there is a Christmas Tree, a candle, an ornament, and a candy cane. They are really cute and really easy to do. I got one done a day. So today we went to Grandma's and got some batting so I got one of them all done with a red ribbon to hang on. I am going to try to find some little bells to hang on the bottom. I had some but I am TERRIBLE and I can't remember where I put them.
The picture I put on tonight is one that my Baby took of me while I was crocheting a pair of slippers. One year, when we had NO INCOME, I made some little slippers for everyone. And I also made some engraved pictures for the kids. I made Michael an owl (because he likes to stay up all night), Bobby a tiger (because he likes them), Elizabeth an angel, and Trey a monkey face (because I have always called him my "monkeybutt"). And of course they got slippers. Last year we made all of the kids cd's to listen to of the songs that they like. Bill gives everyone lawn ornaments which are so beautiful. This year since we got such good results with the homemade items, that is what they are getting. So SURPRISE, Mom and Don!! Sorry. I was talking to Bill about making my folks, sister, and brother some bread. I will make my mom and dad a loaf of that Friendship Bread and give my brother and sister a starter kit of it. I hope they like it. I know I love baking for everyone. Except my mom, she can't believe that I actually make it all from scratch and she calls me "Little Suzy Homemaker" I hate that, my ex-mother-in-law's name was Suzy and she didn't work or anything. So to call me that is so WRONG!! I am really thinking differently about what to give my mom at least. My sister won't call me that. I made some rolls (from scratch) and took them to work for Patsy and Bernie and my mom was there (which I didn't know it) and she called me that. I didn't give her one.
Anway, it just teaches me to NEVER, EVER do that to our kids. I don't care what they do, or don't do, we will NEVER do that to them. So I am getting off of here so we can go to bed and hold my Baby real tight. I hope he sleeps a whole lot better. His demons are getting pretty bad at night. So good-night all and keep the demons away by holding your Baby real tight.

A Great Night!!
Michael went to his mom's for awhile today, he is home already. His and Liz's little sister, Abby, and Liz were walking up the steps today (she always has to come in and use the bathroom- EVERYTIME) and Bill was painting. All of a sudden he hears from Abby "We're coming up Bill." It was so cute. She will be 3 next month. She really likes Michael coming over, and since he don't stay very long, then she gets upset. She is Lisa ( Bill's ex-wife and Elizabeth and Michaels' mom), Abby is her daughter. And she has this afro hairdo going on. We don't have any pics of her yet, but we will.
Tonight we watched a REALLY, REALLY GREAT movie. And if any of you have the chance read the book and watch the movie. It was "The Five People You Will Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. I sat here and bawled just the way I did when I read the book. It made us really think about what will happen when Bill or I die before the other one. I really hate thinking about losing Bill any time, and being away from him. I know what I was like with my depression before Bill, and I really hate to think what I will be like after being with him and having a wonderful life and then lose him. It will definitely destroy me. He is absolutely wonderful. I don't know how anyone could ever hurt him. I know that when I am around no one says anything to him, because I will straighten them out. There was a woman who he knew when he was younger and she got him in trouble. She came into Casey's one day and said "is that all you do is stand around here." And me and my mouth inform her "Yes, that way I know that there are no women that ever touch him or even look at him without me stopping it." She just turned around and left. I hate it when people mouth off.
Anyway, I will get off of the soapbox. I am going to get off of here and go and let my Baby hold me real tight and pray that nothing happens tonight or any time to soon and just Thank God for every minute that I have with him. So good night all. Let your baby's hold you real tight and pray that everything will be better tomorrow.

Today was weird, AGAIN!!
I got a phone call at work from a lady from here in Fairfax and she asked me if Bill would want to have a booth at the Craft Fair that is going on November 1st. I switched hours with a girl at work so I could be there with him. I am so excited, he is going to do it!! He isn't going to go to the one in Shen. but he is going to do the one here in town. I can't wait for him to do it. Like they say "God doesn't close one door, without opening up another." So he is working so hard to have the crafts ready for that one. I will let him tell you more about it on his blog.
It is lightning down south. It rained pretty good today. It got pretty cold out there today. Everytime that I went outside I had Bills' coat on. I don't have one, I really, REALLY like wearing his. That way EVERYONE knows that I am his. And I have him with me even when I am not with him. I am going to get off of here for now. Goodnight all. The storm may rattle the windows but as long as you are in your Babys' arms it can't get in to hurt you. So let him or her hold you real tight. Take care and say your prayers, because God does listen. Roxi

Bill Had a Great Day!!
So that is what I did all day. My sister called me today. She didn't have too much to say. Tomorrow I get to make my Friendship Bread (thank you Linda for the advice!!) And then on Thursday or Friday I get to make Puppy Chow for our son Bobby. He is turning 17 on Friday. He loves that Puppy Chow. Elizabeth had me make her some at her house last Christmas. It was so much fun. So Bill and I decided to make Bobby some Puppy Chow instead of cupcakes. I hope that he likes it better. I am sure he will. He is playing football this year for Craig-Fairfax team. They have a game on his birthday. I can't wait to go and watch him play. We haven't been able to watch yet this year. But, hopefully we get to this week, if I feel better. I still have a bad cough and my head and chest is still congested. So hopefully!!
Anyway, I am going to get off of here and let my Baby hold me real tight!! Good night all.

Happy Anniversary, Baby!!
Anyway, Bill treated me with doing the laundry today- which is a whole lot of work. We use a wringer washer, we let the water drain into a 5-gallon bucket, and dump it in the sink, and we hang the clothes out to dry on the line. So we are not talking about putting it in the washer and just taking it out and putting it in the dryer. And I appreciate it so much. He also was going to do supper, but I beat him to that one. We had fried chicken and mashed potatoes. They were really good.
I am going to get off of here. Good Night to all and let your Baby hold you real tight, I know I am. And Thank you, baby, happy anniversary!!

For My Baby!!
Baby,I love you so much!! I can't believe that you did the laundry today, hung it on the line, painted, and sold your doo-dads. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You will never know how much it means to me that you do all the things that you do for me. Thank you.
Love with all of my heart,

A Great Night For Bill!!
Bill has been painting all day, I am so proud of him. He was sitting here this morning and the phone rang while it was raining and Darryl (the phone fixer-upper guy) called and there was some static on the line (as usual) when it is raining. At least this time we couldn't hear the neighbor's conversation, we couldn't hear anything but static. Anyway, Darryl showed up with this other guy who had a bucket truck and they finally fixed our phone (hopefully). Anyway, they got done with that and they came over and was looking at Bills' woodcrafts (which Darryl really likes them) and the other guy said that he had to go and get his wife and let her look at how well he does. So Bill came up to Tarkio to get me and we were coming home and he was telling me all about it (and was I excited for him!!) and we turned the corner to come home and there was a car in the driveway and there was 3 people standing out there looking at the crafts. It was the other guy and his wife and their son. They brought the pilgrim adn indian sets, they bought some punkins, they bought the snoopy punkin, and also put in an order for a hillbilly couple with the "We Don't use 911" on it, and also a "Spoofhound" sign. They even paid for them all. I AM SO PROUD OF HIM!! I had a messed up day before I came home today. At work (which I have worked there for almost 9 months and fulltime for almost 6 months) I had to fill out another job application (my 3rd one) because they lost the other one's. Patsy or Sonja lost my other one, Patsy or Corporate lost the last one, and now this one the District Manager was going to send it herself to corporate. I asked her (while I was working) if I had a pretty good chance of getting a job. She just smiled at me and said that I had a pretty good chance. It was pretty good, I didn't have to do the truck today. Hopefully, I won't have to again. My shoulders and elbow really hurts after doing it.
Today, I got to add flour, sugar, and milk to my Friendship Bread. I am excited about it, but also a little apprehensive. There is milk in it and we don't put it in the fridge?! I have never heard of that without it getting clabbered. I guess we can have cottage cheese and bread all in one, ha! This si the first one that I have ever gotten.
"That is the news that is news from CornField County." I have always wanted to say that. ;) I know, I know!! I am so weird, that is what I get told (and not from Bill). I am feeling better by the way. I am still coughing and my nose is still stuffed, but feeling better none the less.
So for now I am going to let you go. Don't forget to let your Baby hold you real tight, I know I am. Thanks for listening. And good night! And yes Baby, I am very proud of you. I love you with all of my heart.

What Is Wrong With Our Kids??!!
Anyway, sometimes I get to chasing rabbits and say too much. Sorry, anyway that girl just got out of jail for (get this) forgery. She just graduated high school and went to St Joe to college this August. She just acted like nothing happened. She thinks that she will just get probation, and if she does than I am going to have a fit. We would have the book thrown at us. I don't know what is going on.
She sat here and told Bill a whole bunch of lies. You can tell when she does it is so funny, she actually stops to think of what she is saying. Any other time she totally has mouth-vomit. Just rambling about anything. Kind of like I am on here, huh??
Anyway, I called in last night because I was feeling like I was ran over with a roller. I have it in my head and chest. A pretty bad cough and a whole lot of sniffling. I slept all afternoon. I would say that I am lazy (which I am) but I still am so tired.
I am going to get off of here because Bill is fixing supper. We are having his favorite, spaghetti. So good-bye for tonight and let your baby hold you real tight. I know I am.

Proven Facts and a Weird night!!
For us women there is a scientifcally proven fact that I have come up with. Bill rolls his eyes everytime that I tell the fact. The fact is is CHOCOLATE is a fruit and a vegetable. It hangs on a tree so that makes it a fruit. It comes in a bean that makes it a vegetable. And if you have Milk chocolate then you have your dairy. And if you have nuts in it than you have your protein. So see there it is your whole food group.
Anyway, the weird night that we are having. Someone called us from the Buchanon county jail which is in St Joe Mo. Our phone is all statically so there was no way that we could hear the name of the person. We called over to our daughter's to make sure that it wasn't her and her boyfriend. It wasn't them so we have no clue who it was. One time (not tonight) I got a phone call from a lady who asked for my ex-husband. The phone is in my name- in my maiden name at that. So this lady asked for my ex.husband and I began to inform her that he does NOT live here NOR has he ever and I WANTED to know how she got MY NUMBER. I was not nice to her at all. Then the skank ended up telling me that it was business. Well, I informed her that her calling me made it my business. I told her that the next thing out of her mouth had better be her name and her BUSINESS. We went around with that one about 4 or 5 times. So finally she told me and said that she wouldn't call here again. I told her that that would be a good thing.
That is how strange it is around here. Anyway, you have a great night and don't forget to hold let your man hold you real tight. I know I am!!

Feel Like Poop!!
Bill took the car up to get it fixed and his Grandfather picked him up. So he just called and checked on it and they just got the starter. So hopefully, this fixes it. Grandpa is going to take him up and get it here in a little bit.
We went and laid down a while and Bill just got to sleep when Trey Daniel came home from school. His father called and said that he was to go to the elevator, but he had a note to come here. So who knows what is going on. But I love to see him even for a little bit. Right now he is in the bedroom watching SpongeBob and eating some leftover pizza. His favorite things to do, eat and watch cartoons. He is 8-years-old. Bobby, his brother, is 17. Then we also have Elizabeth who is 22, and Michael who is 15. Michael lives with us. Elizabeth has 2 children Jessica who is 3, she lives with her grandparents, and Gabriel (who is in Bill's arms in the picture on the header)who is 15-months-old. He is a turd just like "papa." ;) He likes to get into "papa's" paint. He doesn't paint with it he just takes it off the paint cart and throws it on the floor.
I will let you go for now and let you get on with your life. Have a Blessed Night and Hold you Man real tight. I am.

Let's have some fun!!
Bill makes woodcrafts and they are so pretty. He does such a good job on them. He is making supper for us tonight, because I feel like I am lazy, he says that he wants me to rest. So I am resting. I always tell him that he is "one-in-a-million." No men (and I know lots of them) would support and love their wife the way Bill does. A good example is when I first fell in love with him in 2005 I asked him if I took a cake out to my kids at the cemetary (Allen was going to be 16 and Sarah was going to be 10 in July 2006), and I wanted to take a cake out to them to celebrate. My husband (at the time) said that I was stupid and to get over losing them. I asked Bill (he came in and got gas for his rider where I worked) and he said "It was a great idea and he would take me out there." He left and mowed his yard and came back and said "How about we get a couple of ballons , and you write a letter to Allen and Sarah, and let go of it and it flow up to heaven." I bawled and he was crying (something my husband-then wouldn't do). Just an example. There is so much more that he does for me that there is no way I could say on here at one time.
I will talk to you later. Thanks for reading.
