Not Much Going on.. Imagine that one...

There really isn't that much going on here. Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been working a whole lot, not more than usual, just working. Kind of frustrated a WHOLE LOT. As most of you know by reading my Baby's blog. We were hoping that we would get quite a bit back from the IRS. But that fell through and not very pretty. It doesn't take much for me to get down and out. And it doesn't take much for me to get excited. But for my health (mentally and physically) I hope this year gets a whole lot better.

After having Sunday and Monday of not doing anything, and I mean NOTHING. I went to work yesterday and was cutting the flaps of a box off and was doing it wrong (imagine that) and cut the flabby part of my forearm with the box-cutter. I didn't need stitches, it was only superficial, but right now it is kinda pink and red. It is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. Bill is kinda worried about it because, of course, I didn't put anything on it just had the assistant manager put band-aids on it while I held it together and those box-cutters are not very sterile. So he has the right to be worrried. I did it to my left arm, inside. Since I was thinking about it and talking to my Baby he had me go and get the neosporin and he covered it and put two band-aids on it. So he doctored me up good and right.

My kids came by this weekend for the night. Bobby is growing up so much. He is doing really well with school and is really enjoying Basketball. I am so proud of him. This is the first year that he is actually playing any sports. The principal really pushed him into playing football and basketball. I think that when basketball is over he is going to be lifting weights. Trey Daniel was on the front page of the local paper on the 15th. He is in Boy Scouts and they had a clothing drive and the paper wrote about it. He was also in the inside of the paper with the school news. The article was called "Elementary Broadway". Where they take 2 kids from elementary and talk about them. It said "This week on Elementary Broadway is Trey Agnew. Trey is in the third grade. His teacher is Mrs. Pam Simanek. Trey's favorite color is purple. Trey's favorite subject is math because he likes to learn. His favorite school lunch is pizza. Trey's best friend is Ryan and his favorite sport is football." The paper is really small. There is only about 500 people that live in this town and the editor really likes my kids. Bobby went out with one of her daughters and she just thinks that he is a great kid. Which is a great ego booster!! So they keep us informed on what they are doing.

So anyway, not much else going on here. Thank you Jan for stopping by my blog. It was very encouraging. And I know that it helps Bill know that someone else is reading his blog as well. Take care of each other. Have a great night. Roxi

IFTHIS IS HOW THE NEW YEAR IS GOING TO BE...

by May I am going to be on tranquilizers. My new year started out bad and this week has BEEN WORSE.

We got a phone call on Monday night that my Baby's mom had a heart attack and that she had to have CPR from his little brother. We flew down to Joplin in a car on Tuesday. Come to find out while we were there that she had CPR given to her for ONE HOUR. That is way too long. She was on a ventilator. We came flying home on Wednesday in a car. My Baby and I rode second class with his uncle. He is a smoker, so we could too. WOOHOO!!

His Uncle John and Aunt Bonnie are just so was sweet and good to us. But they do drive fast. They are used to it. We live in Small town America and drive 55 and that is too fast for us. They drove top speed of 80. They didn't go any faster, but WOW everyone else did, FOR SURE!!

So right now, my Baby made a phone call at 3:30 and they had shut off the respirator and right now they have her on morphine to hopefully stop her from aspirating her secretions. So unfortunately, our mom is gone. And yes, she was OUR MOM. I thought so much of her. It is so amazing, they accepted me for who I am. Good example: I embroidered her and his grandma a couple of things one time. My MOM took her glasses off and inspected every SINGLE stitch. His mom and grandma just hugged me and said that it was beautiful. She didn't come up much (we realize now why- that is a hard drive to make) but when she did, we all had a wonderful visit. I will definitly miss her. We love you, mom!! Have fun with the kids.

So yes, if it doesn't get any better (the new year) I know how my depression is and I will DEFINITLY HAVE TO HAVE tranquilizers. So please pray for us, for strength and serenity. Please. Have a good night. I will try to post more tomorrow. Good night, Roxi

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

We had a pretty good Christmas. I had to work from 10-6. The boys came by at about 8:30 that morning and I had to leave to go to work at 9. Bill brought them back home and their father came over and got them right when they got back to Fairfax. So when I got home they were long gone. They came by on New Year's Day and they said that they were going to stay Saturday night. We will see because I have to work from 1-7 because the truck is coming tomorrow and I have to do the truck. WOOHOO!!

Patsy (my boss) is doing really well. She didn't have cancer in her colon or her spleen (which they had to remove because it was all mushy and wouldn't stop bleeding when they were inside). BUT she has stopped smoking, her complexion is wonderful and she has lost a lot of weight. Her sister said that she has lost 30-35 pounds. I am so proud of her. HOPEFULLY she will be back soon. The assistant isn't doing to bad but I was talking to the librarian down here and she can't believe that she is the assistant. Well, that is about all that I want to say about that place.

Our New Year's Eve was uneventful. We ended up going to bed about 7:30 and I think that I was asleep befire 10. I had to work New Year's Eve and Day. New Year's Day was very EVENTFUL. I am really thinking that if the new year is going to be like the last couple of days, then I know that it is going to be VERY PAINFUL and VERY LONG. Not at home, but my work is just sucking. The people are just rude and STUPID!! Not just rude but RUDE. I don't want to get into it because it just really bothered me, REALLY BAD.

So, for right now suffice it to say that when that certain person comes in someone else is waiting on him. So I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and a great New Years. So right now we are going to go to bed and hold each other. So have a great night.
