There really isn't that much going on here. Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been working a whole lot, not more than usual, just working. Kind of frustrated a WHOLE LOT. As most of you know by reading my Baby's blog. We were hoping that we would get quite a bit back from the IRS. But that fell through and not very pretty. It doesn't take much for me to get down and out. And it doesn't take much for me to get excited. But for my health (mentally and physically) I hope this year gets a whole lot better.
After having Sunday and Monday of not doing anything, and I mean NOTHING. I went to work yesterday and was cutting the flaps of a box off and was doing it wrong (imagine that) and cut the flabby part of my forearm with the box-cutter. I didn't need stitches, it was only superficial, but right now it is kinda pink and red. It is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. Bill is kinda worried about it because, of course, I didn't put anything on it just had the assistant manager put band-aids on it while I held it together and those box-cutters are not very sterile. So he has the right to be worrried. I did it to my left arm, inside. Since I was thinking about it and talking to my Baby he had me go and get the neosporin and he covered it and put two band-aids on it. So he doctored me up good and right.
My kids came by this weekend for the night. Bobby is growing up so much. He is doing really well with school and is really enjoying Basketball. I am so proud of him. This is the first year that he is actually playing any sports. The principal really pushed him into playing football and basketball. I think that when basketball is over he is going to be lifting weights. Trey Daniel was on the front page of the local paper on the 15th. He is in Boy Scouts and they had a clothing drive and the paper wrote about it. He was also in the inside of the paper with the school news. The article was called "Elementary Broadway". Where they take 2 kids from elementary and talk about them. It said "This week on Elementary Broadway is Trey Agnew. Trey is in the third grade. His teacher is Mrs. Pam Simanek. Trey's favorite color is purple. Trey's favorite subject is math because he likes to learn. His favorite school lunch is pizza. Trey's best friend is Ryan and his favorite sport is football." The paper is really small. There is only about 500 people that live in this town and the editor really likes my kids. Bobby went out with one of her daughters and she just thinks that he is a great kid. Which is a great ego booster!! So they keep us informed on what they are doing.
So anyway, not much else going on here. Thank you Jan for stopping by my blog. It was very encouraging. And I know that it helps Bill know that someone else is reading his blog as well. Take care of each other. Have a great night. Roxi
