IFTHIS IS HOW THE NEW YEAR IS GOING TO BE...

by May I am going to be on tranquilizers. My new year started out bad and this week has BEEN WORSE.

We got a phone call on Monday night that my Baby's mom had a heart attack and that she had to have CPR from his little brother. We flew down to Joplin in a car on Tuesday. Come to find out while we were there that she had CPR given to her for ONE HOUR. That is way too long. She was on a ventilator. We came flying home on Wednesday in a car. My Baby and I rode second class with his uncle. He is a smoker, so we could too. WOOHOO!!

His Uncle John and Aunt Bonnie are just so was sweet and good to us. But they do drive fast. They are used to it. We live in Small town America and drive 55 and that is too fast for us. They drove top speed of 80. They didn't go any faster, but WOW everyone else did, FOR SURE!!

So right now, my Baby made a phone call at 3:30 and they had shut off the respirator and right now they have her on morphine to hopefully stop her from aspirating her secretions. So unfortunately, our mom is gone. And yes, she was OUR MOM. I thought so much of her. It is so amazing, they accepted me for who I am. Good example: I embroidered her and his grandma a couple of things one time. My MOM took her glasses off and inspected every SINGLE stitch. His mom and grandma just hugged me and said that it was beautiful. She didn't come up much (we realize now why- that is a hard drive to make) but when she did, we all had a wonderful visit. I will definitly miss her. We love you, mom!! Have fun with the kids.

So yes, if it doesn't get any better (the new year) I know how my depression is and I will DEFINITLY HAVE TO HAVE tranquilizers. So please pray for us, for strength and serenity. Please. Have a good night. I will try to post more tomorrow. Good night, Roxi
